We’re excited to welcome Adyn Steenbarger to the Western Community Insurance team in Woodland, Washington. Adyn may be new to the insurance world, but he’s no stranger to farming, business, or the values that define rural life. With hands-on experience in both agriculture and aviation management, Adyn brings a fresh perspective, strong work ethic, and a deep sense of purpose to his new role as an agent.
Farm Taught, Flight Tested
Born and raised in Washington, Adyn’s roots in agriculture go back to his childhood, growing up on a diversified small farm. From raising laying hens and cattle to helping with a CSA garden, he gained early exposure to many sides of farm life. Those formative years gave him a real understanding of the daily demands, unpredictability, and value of the farming lifestyle.
More recently, Adyn spent seven years pursuing another passion—aviation—while climbing the ranks to manage an aviation maintenance shop. That role sharpened his skills in risk management, financial planning, and leadership, all of which he now applies to his work helping clients protect their livelihoods.
“As I come into this position, I’m looking forward to bringing my skills together to help farmers protect their assets and support the community that puts food on our tables,” Adyn shares.
A proud pilot and aircraft owner, Adyn brings precision and risk-awareness to everything he does.
Serving the Community that Raised Him
Adyn has spent most of his life in and around Woodland, and his connection to the area runs deep. He’s spent years volunteering with local churches, attending community events, and actively participating in both county and state Farm Bureau activities.
“From riding trikes for the auction at the state conference to being a voting delegate in more recent years, I’ve been involved in Farm Bureau for as long as I can remember,” Adyn says.
That lifelong connection gives Adyn a unique understanding of the people and priorities in his community and a genuine desire to serve them well.
Family, Flying and Time Well Spent
Adyn and his girlfriend enjoy life outside in true Washington style.
When he’s not working, Adyn enjoys spending time with his five younger siblings. Whether they’re riding motorcycles, playing ping pong, or just hanging out, there’s always something going on—and usually some friendly competition, too.
He’s also a certified private pilot and the proud owner of a Cessna 150. Flying has been one of his favorite hobbies for years, and he’s always up for a good conversation about aviation.
Adyn also enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, especially when they’re camping around the state or heading to the Washington coast to go crabbing. Exploring the outdoors together is one of their favorite ways to spend time.
What to Expect When You Work With Adyn
Adyn brings a unique blend of energy, reliability, and real-world perspective to every client relationship. With experience in both farming and business, he understands the risks his clients face and takes pride in helping them navigate those risks with confidence.
“I’m young and motivated, and I’m here for the long haul,” Adyn says. “My clients can count on having someone they can call and work with for years to come.”
He’s most at home face to face in the field, talking through real-life situations with real people. Whether you’re reviewing your current policy or starting fresh, you can count on Adyn to show up, sort through the options, and help protect what matters most.
