Western Community Insurance Company is pleased to announce the appointment of two new District Managers in Washington: Kattie Blanchard, District Manager for Eastern Washington, and Stephen Sparks, District Manager for Western Washington.
Both bring strong connections to agriculture, leadership experience and a commitment to serving their local communities. In their new roles, Kattie and Stephen will provide leadership and support to agents as Western Community continues to grow across the state.
Kattie Blanchard | Eastern Washington
Kattie is one of Western Community’s original Washington agents and the first in the state to receive the company’s Community Champion Award for her commitment to her local community. Born and raised in Selah, Washington, she brings more than 20 years of experience in agriculture and a strong understanding of the farmers, ranchers, businesses, and families Western Community serves.
Throughout her career, Kattie has focused on building trusted relationships, supporting agriculture and strengthening local communities. She is actively involved in 4-H and local community fairs and enjoys raising goats and riding horses with her family.
As District Manager for Eastern Washington, Kattie will bring her experience as an agent, passion for agriculture, and commitment to service to supporting and developing agents throughout the region.
Stephen Sparks | Western Washington
Stephen joined Western Community Insurance in 2025 and brings a unique combination of insurance sales, agriculture and military leadership experience to his new role. Raised in Idaho, he grew up with strong ties to agriculture and Farm Bureau. His background has given him a strong understanding of the agricultural communities Western Community serves.
Prior to insurance, Stephen served 10 years in the U.S. Army, holding several leadership positions. He is married and has four children. Outside of work, he enjoys camping, hiking, hunting, traveling and spending time with his family.
Stephen is passionate about family, agriculture, service and helping others succeed. He brings that same commitment to his new role as he supports Western Washington agents and helps lead the region into its next chapter of growth.
